My platform:      

To help ensure that every child is a welcome member of their school and that they belong to that school regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, or religion.

Ensure that every child has an equal opportunity to succeed by leveraging the rich array of Missoula area resources and services.

To continually improve the safety of every school so our children feel safe and are excited to learn.

   To listen and learn and to use that knowledge to enact positive change.

I believe I bring a unique perspective to the table, having worked for the Office of Public Instruction and the Montana Safe School Center, extensive knowledge of brain development and the impacts of stress, and lived experience as a single mom and blended family. As a person of color, I understand the importance of bringing diverse perspectives to the table.

My platform is centered around improving the lives of all children in our community. With my experience working for the Office of Public Instruction and numerous nonprofits, I understand how to stretch a dollar and be creative with budgets.

I am excited to listen, learn and work collaboratively with the community to create positive change for our children’s futures. Let’s work together to create a better tomorrow for all children.
